
WIRF Volunteer honoured in International Women's Day awards
WIRF volunteer, Win Froude, has been honoured in the annual awards for International Women's Day.
This year's awards have special significance, as it marks 100 years of celebrating women's affairs. Accordingly, this year's awards included the inaugural Western Australian Hall of Fame inductees.
Win was inducted for her long term service as a teacher, Girl Guides leader, fund-raiser for a variety of causes and, not least, as a volunteer in the WIRF Cafe at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
