Fundraising

Personal/Team Fundraising

You may wish to turn a personal or team challenge into a fundraising event by seeking sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues.

WIRF recommends an online fundraising site called MYCAUSE. This allows you to create your own online fundraising page in minutes, so you can collect donations for any sponsored event or appeal quickly, securely via the internet.

Online fundraising is much easier – you don’t have to do the rounds collecting cash and cheques. All donations are made securely and receipted by email immediately. You can personalise your page with a photo, personal message and fundraising target and email the link to all your family, friends and supporters.

You can create a fundraising page for absolutely anything. You could get sponsored to run or walk in the City to Surf, swim to Rottnest, cycle the Gibb River Road, get fit, grow a moustache or have your head shaved. The only limit is your imagination. More Fundraising Ideas.
