The rate of preterm birth in Western Australia is 8-9%, and is 15% in Aboriginal people.

At the very heart of the Foundation are our treasured volunteers. They all play a vital role by contributing their time to helping in the Café/Gift Shop, the WIRF office, knitting and sewing items for the Foundation’s shop, running the Opportunity Shop and participating in research studies.
