Volunteers in the Café/Gift Shop

The Foundation’s Café and Gift Shop opened in 1999 on the ground floor of King Edward Memorial Hospital. Since its opening, volunteers have always helped by serving customers at the café counter, in the gift shop and in the kitchen with food preparation and dishes. We also have volunteers assist in selling the gift shop products on ward trolley rounds. The profits from the Café and Gift Shop go directly to WIRF’s research studies. Volunteers assist WIRF directly by relieving Café / Gift Shop funds that would otherwise be used for wages.

We are currently seeking to fill the volunteer positions below:

Café Counter Vollies (4 hour roster/once a week or fortnight)
Monday (8am-2pm)
Wednesday (8am– 2pm)
Thursday (8am-12noon)
