Scott is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior finance roles within the mining and manufacturing sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed IGO Limited and its related joint venture companies for a combined 13 years. Throughout his career, Scott has played active roles in business transformation, debt and equity funding, key contract tenders, and strategy and culture development.
Scott is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants (Australia & New Zealand). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pathology and Microbiology from The University of Western Australia. His enduring interest in medical science and healthcare is reflected in his active volunteering roles with Lifeblood Australia and as an Events Ambulance Officer with St John WA.
Scott was inspired to join the WIRF Board by the Foundation's significant and far-reaching purpose of achieving the best healthcare outcomes for women and their babies.
Scott aims to leverage his financial management expertise, strategic planning skills, and passion for healthcare to help the Foundation achieve its objectives and growth ambitions. He is committed to collaborating with fellow board members to deliver tangible outcomes that align with WIRF’s vision.
