About Dr Jayne Kotz

Jayne Kotz is an experienced researcher and healthcare professional specialising in primary healthcare, maternal and child health, and perinatal mental health. As a Senior Research Fellow and Nurse Practitioner at the Ngangk Yira Institute for Change, Murdoch University, she works closely with First Nations communities in Australia, Africa, and Vanuatu. Her research focuses on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal families, with expertise in mental health, sexual and reproductive health, family violence, and health promotion. Jayne combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to community collaboration and evidence-based practice.
