About Dr. Haruo Usuda
Dr Haruo Usuda is a clinical senior lecturer in obstetrics and gynaecology at The University of Western Australia. He heads the WIRF Perinatal Research Laboratories and the groundbreaking Artificial Placenta Project.
He received his medical degree from Tohoku University, Japan. His clinical interests are obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, perinatology, paediatrics, neonatal resuscitation, and fetal medicine.
