Sarah Murphy serves as WIRF’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in finance, strategy and executive leadership. Originally from the UK, she has developed extensive expertise across both the commercial accounting and not-for-profit sectors in Australia, supported by her CA ANZ and ACCA qualifications.
Sarah is responsible for guiding WIRF’s financial strategy, ensuring the Foundation remains well positioned to support world-class medical research that improves the health and wellbeing of women, babies and families. Her thoughtful approach to financial management helps maximise the impact of every investment in research and innovation.
Away from the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her two daughters from the sidelines of their basketball games.
