About Natalie Williams

Natalie Williams is a registered nurse and works as both the Gynaecology Nurse Researcher at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth and the Research and Support Evaluation Lead for Ovarian Cancer Australia. She has experience leading a research team in projects focussing primarily on women’s gynaecological care, including cancer care. 

Natalie is currently a PhD candidate, developing a research-driven guidance resource for specialised gynaecological cancer nursing care in Australia. Previously, Natalie has completed a Master of Philosophy (Nursing) and post graduate certificates in Women’s Health Care and Health Professional Education. 

Natalie is passionate about improving health outcomes for women and people affected by gynaecological conditions, including cancer. Within her work, she strives to promote nurse-led research to amplify the voices and outcomes that matter to people with lived experience. Her professional and personal values include improving equity amongst priority populations, research capacity amongst nurses and quality of life outcomes.
