Who best can speak about what it means to be born too soon? The preterm mothers and fathers we work with do an unbelievable job of remembering and reliving their journeys and the rollercoaster of emotions to raise awareness of premature birth in the hope to help others. But what about the preterm babies themselves and how their challenging start to life has shaped them and their families? Hugo Moullin is an incredible young man with a very powerful story. Born at just 25 weeks and weighing only 740 grams, Hugo partnered with WIRF in 2021 to speak about the loss of his twin brother Beau, his challenges and accomplishments, and the strength of his parents Anita and Jamie to help him overcome his
extreme preterm birth. We sincerely thank Hugo, Anita, Jamie and Stella for allowing us to tell their family’s story
