Erin is a research scientist who has been working with the Women and Infants Research Foundation for 5 years. She has a keen interest in women and infants’ health, teaching women's health at the University of Western Australia and previously working on perinatal research projects investigating antenatal steroid use, ventilation outcomes and the use of an artificial placenta platform for treating preterm fetuses.

Erin’s primary biomedical research interest centers around preterm birth research with a focus on antenatal steroid treatment efficacy. Her research includes dose optimization of antenatal steroid treatment, with an aim to determine the minimum dose of steroids required to generate fetal lung maturation while reducing risk to the mother and developing fetus.
